Overview

The floor is the venue's largest continuous design statement

A gaming floor carpet is seen by every guest, absorbs a significant share of the room's noise, guides circulation without signage and takes more physical abuse than any other finish. It is also the item most often value-engineered into failure.

We weave to order. Pattern scale is developed against the actual room dimensions and machine bank geometry, colours are approved under the venue's specified lighting rather than showroom light, and dye lots are controlled across the full run so an eleven-thousand square metre floor reads as one piece.

  • 80/20 wool-nylon or solution-dyed nylon depending on traffic and budget
  • Pattern developed at true scale against the seating and bank layout
  • Dye-lot control and sequence numbering across the entire production run
  • Acoustic underlay systems selected with the project's acoustic consultant

Carpet programme

Eight areas of specialist floor covering work

From first pattern sketch to the maintenance regime handed to the housekeeping manager, floor coverings are managed as a discipline rather than a purchase.

01

Custom Patterns

Original artwork developed in our studio, drawn to the room, colour-separated for weaving and issued as a full-scale sample panel before production.

02

Acoustic Carpets

High-pile constructions and specialist underlays that measurably reduce reverberation on hard-ceilinged gaming floors.

03

Premium Materials

Australia wool blends, solution-dyed nylon, silk-effect viscose accents and hand-tufted rugs for salons and lounges.

04

Fire-Resistant Construction

Tested to AS/ISO 9239.1 critical radiant flux with certification issued in the venue's name and included in handover.

05

VIP Collections

Hand-tufted and hand-knotted rugs for private salons, produced as single pieces with bound or leather-trimmed edges.

06

Colour Concepts

Palettes approved under the specified luminaires, tested for the way low ambient light shifts green, charcoal and metallic tones.

07

Maintenance Programmes

Written regimes covering daily suction, machine-base detail work, quarterly extraction and annual condition survey.

08

Installation

Double-stick and direct-glue systems, night-shift installation around trading, seam planning and moisture testing of substrates.

Casino gaming floor with patterned carpet defining circulation

Technical detail

Pattern is wayfinding that guests never notice

Good casino carpet design does quiet work. A darker, calmer field beneath machine banks makes the banks feel settled; a lighter, directional band through circulation moves guests toward the tables and the bar without a single arrow.

Scale matters more than motif. A pattern that looks striking on an A3 sample can read as visual noise across two thousand square metres, so we always assess a one-metre strike-off laid on the actual floor under the actual lighting before committing.

We also plan for repair. Attic stock from the same dye lot is held in our Sydney warehouse, so burn marks or spill damage can be patched invisibly instead of triggering a whole-zone replacement.
